ಪರಮಪೂಜ್ಯ ಜಗದ್ಗುರು ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀ ಪದ್ಮಭೂಷಣ ಡಾ.ಬಾಲಗಂಗಾಧರನಾಥ ಮಹಾಸ್ವಾಮಿಗಳವರ ಶ್ರೀವಾಣಿ ಆಶಯದಂತೆ ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿ ಬೆಳೆದಿರುವ ನಾವು ಸಮಾಜದ ಅಭಿವೃಧ್ದಿಗಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮಿಂದ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಬಹುದಾದ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಎಂಬ ಮಹತ್ವಾಕಾಂಕ್ಷೆಯಿಂದ 2001ರಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಾನ ಮನಸ್ಕರಾಗಿರುವ ಹದಿಮೂರು ಮಂದಿ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು ಸೇರಿ ಭುವನೇಶ್ವರಿ ಒಕ್ಕಲಿಗರ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಸಂಘ(ರಿ)ವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದೆವು. ಅಂದಿನಿಂದಲೂ ಒಕ್ಕಲಿಗ ಸಮಾಜ ಮತ್ತು ಒಕ್ಕಲಿಗ ಸಮಾಜದ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮಾಜದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಅಭ್ಯುದಯವನ್ನು ಧೇಯ್ಯವನ್ನಾಗಿರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹತ್ತು ಹಲವು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಂಡು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಗೊಳಿಸುವತ್ತ ಕಾರ್ಯೋನ್ಮುಖರಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಹದಿನಾಲ್ಕು ವರ್ಷಗಳನ್ನು ಪೂರೈಸಿ ಹದಿನೈದನೇ ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಪಾದಾರ್ಪಣೆ ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಸಂಘಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ವಂತದ್ದಾದ ಒಂದು ಕಟ್ಟಡವಿಲ್ಲದ ಕೊರತೆ ಇದುವರೆಗೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕಾಡುತ್ತಿತ್ತು ಆದರೆ ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿಯ ಎಲ್ಲರ ಪರಿಶ್ರಮದಿಂದ ಇದೀಗ ಸಂಘಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಕನಕ ಬಡವಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ 50 x 80 ಅಡಿ ಸಿ.ಎ ನಿವೇಶನ ನಂ 1, ಕನಕ ಬಡಾವಣೆ 1ನೇ ಮುಖ್ಯರಸ್ತೆ 4ನೇ ಅಡ್ಡರಸ್ತೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಖರೀದಿಸಿರುವುದನ್ನು ತಮಗೆಲ್ಲ ತಿಳಿಸಲು ಸಂತೋಷವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

ಸಂಘದ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸುವ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ನಿವೇಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಘದ ಕಟ್ಟಡ ಹಾಗೂ ಗ್ರಂಥಾಲಯವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲು ಯೋಜನೆ ತಯಾರಿಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಮೂರು ಅಂತಸ್ತನ್ನುಳ್ಳ ಕಟ್ಟಡದ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸುಮಾರು ಎರಡು ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ವೆಚ್ಚ ತಗುಲಬಹುದೆಂದು ಅಂದಾಜಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇಷ್ಟು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಮೊತ್ತದ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಕಾರ್ಯ ಮಾಡುವುದು ನಮ್ಮಿಂದ ಕಷ್ಟಸಾಧ್ಯ.ಸಮಾಜ ಬಾಂಧವರ ನೆರವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಸತ್ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನಾಗಲೀ, ಸಾಧನೆಯನ್ನಾಗಲೀ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಗೊಳಿಸುವುದು ಸುಲಭ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಲ್ಲ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಕೊಡುಗೈ ದಾನಿಗಳೆಂದೇ ಹೆಸರಾಗಿರುವ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಮಾಜ ಬಾಂಧವರು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಧನ ಸಹಾಯದ ನೆರವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ ಸಮಾಜದ ಅಭಿವೃಧ್ದಿ ಕಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೈ ಜೋಡಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ತಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಸವಿನಯದಿಂದ ಕೋರುತ್ತೇವೆ.

Smt Mahadevamma Krishnaiah

Smt Mahadevamma is the president of Bhuvaneshwari vokkaligara mahila sangha formerly worked in HMT Machine tools limited, Bellary road, bangalore-560 032, Karnataka, India for 25 years and later took Voluntary retirement Scheme as junior personnel officer.

Early Life and Education

Smt Mahadevamma born on 12th January 1955 to Late Gowramma and Late Javarappa in Hanumanthanagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

Smt Mahadevamma completed her high school at Bharath Matha Vidya Mandir, Hanumanthanagar, Bengaluru and completed the class XII from BMS College, Bengaluru where she was named as the Best Cadet in National Cadet Corps(NCC) and was also selected from Karnataka state for the camp held in Hyderabad.
Mahadevamma earned her BA degree from APS Evening College, N R Colony,, Bengaluru. She holds an MA degree from MANASA GANGOTRI, Mysuru.

Career

Smt Mahadevamma is serving in various positions in Congress Party since 20 years. She has been appointed as:
1. Block President: Mahila Congress, Banashankari Ward, Bengaluru.
2. Member of Zilla Dharmika Parishad, Bangalore.
3..Vice President: Vishwa Vokkaligara Mahila Okkutta(R), Bengaluru.
4.Vice President: Residence Forum, Banashankari 2nd stage, Bengaluru.
5. Member of Samana Manaskara Okkutta.
6. Ex Director: Bengaluru Nagara Jilla Sahakara Union.
7. Ex Censor Board Member.
8. Ex Director: Shakambari Mahila Credit Co-operative Society, Bengaluru.

Achievements and Awards

Smt Mahadevamma has won championship in sports during her school and college days.
She actively participates in all the events which include the Betterment of Society, Women Empowerment, Education for Girl Child and many more.

Smt Mahadevamma with Leadership skills and Good Organising skills has organised Blood donation camp, Free Eye Check-up Camp etc. She has also received Nada Prabhu Kempe Gowda award from the BBMP Corporator of Ganesha Mandira Ward.
